Jopen Adriaan Wit is named after city mill De Adriaan. This mill stood on the banks of the Spaarne for centuries and ground grain for Haarlem brewers. The mill went up in flames in 1932. Jopen sponsored the rebuilding of De Adriaan by selling this wheat beer.
