Short stamped canning date
At Beer Republic, we import a variety of beers specifically intended for local consumption. These beers come with a Best Before Date of three months. The reason behind this shorter timeframe is twofold: it is either a requirement mandated by certain American State laws, or it aligns with the expectations of their local customers.
If these beers were destined for export, they would be stamped with a Best Before Date of twelve months. However, since some breweries do not actively export to Europe, acquiring the domestically stamped version becomes our only option for importing these unique beers.
To address this disparity, we have taken the liberty of extending the Best Before Date by an additional nine months. We hope this explanation provides you with a satisfactory understanding of our processes.
